This program, for interested fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students, is an internationally organized program created to inspire scientific and technological curiosity in young students by allowing them to design, build, and program computer robots for a specific challenge.
Students in fifth and sixth grade may be chosen to be part of Math Masters, a state-wide math competition. Team members are chosen in late fall through selection tests provided by Math Masters. They then practice weekly with their coach and participate in a competition in spring. Competitions are held throughout the state on the same weekend, and awards are given for the top individuals and teams at each competition site.
More information may be found by visiting the Math Masters website at www.mathmastersmn.org.
