Activities

Learning requires more than just sitting in a classroom.  Good Shepherd School offers many opportunities for each child to reach their full potential.  Good Shepherd offers may activities during school hours and outside of school hours.  There are tremendous opportunities for physical growth from Running Club to competitive athletic teams.  Most years Good Shepherd School sponsors 17 basketball teams with ages from kindergarten through 6th grade.  There is also growth for the mind with activities like chess, robotics, and Boy and Girl Scouts.

During the school day activities like band for grades 4th - 6th, are elective but each year Good Shepherd hosts plays, concerts, and informational presentations to broaden each child's education.

The key activity of all that Good Shepherd sponsors is our commitment to Christian Service.  Each grade sponsors age appropriate service projects to meet the community's needs.  The entire school community works on all-school and community projects such as the local food bank and Common Hope, a mission school in Guatemala, among others.

Good Shepherd seeks to educate the whole child.
